Terms of use

Last updated 30 October 2026

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Resintel (Resource Intelligence) Pty Limited (ABN 78 648 271 925), trading as Digiprofiles ("Digiprofiles", "we", "us") about your use of the Digiprofiles app, website, landing pages and wallet passes (Digiprofiles saved to Apple Wallet or Google Wallet) (the "service"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Our Privacy policy explains how we handle personal information, and forms part of these terms.

2. Your licence to use Digiprofiles

While your subscription is active, we give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for yourself, within your plan's limits. You may not copy, resell, rent or sub-license the service, or try to get around its limits, security or payment.

3. One account, one person

  • An account belongs to one person: the person whose name and verified mobile number are on it. Each mobile number can hold only one account.
  • You must be 16 or over to have an account.
  • Do not share your sign-in. Do not give your password or sign-in codes to anyone else, or let anyone else create or change profiles on your account. Each person who wants Digiprofiles needs their own account.
  • You are responsible for what happens on your account. Tell us straight away at support@digiprofiles.com if you think someone else has used it.
  • Wallet passes are issued to you for your own phone. Apple Wallet passes cannot be forwarded to other phones.
  • If we reasonably believe an account is being shared or misused, we may ask you to confirm your identity, sign you out of other devices, or suspend the account (see section 9).

4. Your profiles and what you share

  • What you put on your profiles must be accurate and yours to share. Do not impersonate another person or organisation, or use a name, logo or details you do not have the right to use.
  • The name on your Contact profiles and their conferences is the name on your account. Use your real name. Changing it needs a code texted to your account's mobile, and the new name then shows on all of them.
  • "Phone verified" and similar badges describe your account only. Do not use them to suggest someone else's details are verified.
  • You keep ownership of your content. You give us permission to store it, show it on your landing pages and wallet passes, and process it as needed to run the service.
  • When people share their details back with you, you must use them only to get back in touch with that person, and in line with privacy law. Once you save or export their details, those copies are your responsibility.

5. What you must not do

You must not use Digiprofiles to send spam; to harass, deceive or defraud anyone; to collect people's details without their consent; to share unlawful, harmful or offensive material; to infringe anyone's rights; or to interfere with, probe or overload the service or other people's accounts.

6. Plans, trials and payment

  • Plans. There is one plan: a set number of Digiprofiles of any type for a yearly price (currently 29 a year for 10 in your local currency, for example A$29, US$29, €29, £29 or C$29), times a multiplier of 1 to 4 (for example, a multiplier of 2 is currently 58 a year for 20). We may change prices from time to time; the price shown in the app when you pay is the one that applies to that purchase.
  • Terms. You can pay for 1 year, or 3 years upfront with a 10% discount.
  • Free trial. New accounts get a free trial described on the website. You add a payment card when you sign up, but nothing is charged during the trial. When the trial ends, we charge your card for the plan you have chosen, unless you cancel before then. During the trial you can change the multiplier, choose 3 years or add a promo code; this does not change your trial end date.
  • Referral program. While the referral program is running, you can earn free months when friends you referred become paying subscribers. The Referral program terms set out how it works, when a friend counts and the rules for rewards, and form part of these terms.
  • Promo codes may give a discount or a longer trial. Each code has an expiry date, can be used once per account, and has no cash value.
  • Renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each term unless you cancel. We email you 30 days before your subscription ends. You can cancel any time in Subscription details; your Digiprofiles keep working until the end of the term you have paid for.
  • No refunds, and cancelling. Payments are not refundable and are not pro-rated, including when you change plan or multiplier part-way through a term. If you cancel, your subscription is simply not renewed: the service, your Digiprofiles and your data continue as normal until the end of the period you have paid for (your service end date), then the account is paused (see section 7). This does not affect your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
  • Currency. Your prices are in the currency of the country of your mobile number when you created your account: Australian dollars in Australia and New Zealand, Canadian dollars in Canada, British pounds in the United Kingdom, euros in Europe, and US dollars everywhere else. We charge your card in that same currency, so your statement shows your price. Because we are based in Australia, your bank may add an overseas transaction fee. For accounts based in Australia, GST is added on top once we are registered for GST. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never store your full card number.
  • Invoices. Every purchase gets an invoice from Digiprofiles (a business name of Resintel (Resource Intelligence) Pty Limited), which you can download from Subscription details. Once GST applies, invoices to Australian accounts are tax invoices.
  • Tax. In Australia, GST is added to the price once Digiprofiles is registered for it. In the United Kingdom and the European Union, prices include VAT at your country's rate. If you buy for a business with a valid UK or EU VAT number, no VAT is charged: your business accounts for it (reverse charge), and the invoice shows the business's name and VAT number. Your country for tax is the country of your mobile number.

7. When a subscription ends

  • For 30 days after your subscription ends, your account is paused. Your Digiprofiles still show, but their buttons are switched off, and you cannot add or change profiles. Renew within those 30 days to bring everything back as it was.
  • After 30 days, your account has expired. Your Digiprofiles show only that the account has expired.
  • A conference cannot be set up to run past the end of a subscription that will not renew.
  • We keep an expired account's information for 180 days, then permanently delete it.

8. Your data, and keeping it secure

Our Safeguards page explains in plain language how we keep Digiprofiles safe for the people who use it and the people who scan it, and which safeguards are in place today. It describes our practices and is updated as we add protections; it doesn't change these terms.

All data you provide will NOT be used for commercial or marketing purposes, and will not be sold or distributed to any third parties. We use it only to provide Digiprofiles to you, and your Digiprofiles show only what you choose to share.

There are two exceptions:

  • News and offers from Digiprofiles itself, only if you tick the "news and offers" box at sign-up or in Account details. You can untick it at any time. We never pass your details to anyone else for marketing.
  • The service providers that run Digiprofiles for us, listed below. They handle your data only to provide their part of the service, under contract, and may not use it for anything else.

If we change a provider, we will update this list and the Privacy policy.

We take security seriously, and the Privacy policy sets out how we protect personal information. In summary:

  • Two-factor sign-in: each time you sign in, we send a 6-digit code to your account's verified mobile.
  • Each person can only ever read and change their own information. This is enforced by the database itself, not just the app.
  • Information is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, hosted in Australia (Sydney).
  • Sign-in attempts are limited, passwords are stored scrambled (hashed), and changing your password needs your current one.
  • Details people share back stay hidden until they confirm by email, and are deleted after 12 months.
  • Staff access is limited, separately secured and logged.

You help keep your account safe by using a strong password you do not use elsewhere, and by never sharing your password or sign-in codes. No online service can be completely secure; if we become aware of a data breach that affects you, we will tell you as required by the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.

9. Reports, suspending and closing accounts

Reports. Anyone can report a Digiprofile they think is fake, misleading or harmful, using the "Report this Digiprofile" link on its page or at digiprofiles.com/report.html. We review every report. If your Digiprofile is reported, we may email you about it, ask you to show the details are yours or correct them, and record what we found and did. We don't tell the person who reported it what we found, and we don't tell you who reported it unless the law requires it.

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, is shared, is used for misuse or fraud, or where the law requires it. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.

10. Our service

We work to keep Digiprofiles available and working well, but we may change features, and there may be interruptions for maintenance or reasons outside our control. Phone wallets, messaging apps, maps and calendars are provided by other companies, and we are not responsible for how they work.

QR Code is a registered trademark of DENSO WAVE INCORPORATED in Japan and other countries. Apple Wallet is a trademark of Apple Inc., and Google Wallet is a trademark of Google LLC.

11. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Otherwise, to the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is significant, we will tell you by email or in the app before it takes effect. If you keep using Digiprofiles after that, the new terms apply.

13. Law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Questions: support@digiprofiles.com, or Resintel (Resource Intelligence) Pty Limited, 30 Stadium Circuit, Mulgrave VIC 3170, Australia.
