Referral program terms

1. About these terms

These terms cover the Digiprofiles referral program, run by Resintel (Resource Intelligence) Pty Limited (ABN 78 648 271 925), trading as Digiprofiles. They form part of our Terms of use. By sharing your invite or taking part in the program, you agree to them.

2. How the program works

Introduce friends to Digiprofiles. For every 5 friends who become paying subscribers, you receive 1 month free on your subscription. The number of friends and months are shown in the app (on the sign-up screen and in Subscription details); the figures shown when a friend's paid subscription begins are the ones that apply.

3. Who can receive rewards

Anyone with a Digiprofiles account in good standing can refer friends.
Rewards are only given to paying subscribers. If you earn a reward while you're on a free trial, or while your subscription has ended, it is held and added to your subscription when you next pay.
Rewards are lost if your account is closed or suspended.

4. How a friend is linked to you

A friend is linked to you only when they sign up, in one of two ways:

they choose "From a friend" under "How did you hear about Digiprofiles?" and enter your mobile number, which must match the mobile number on your account; or
they sign up from one of your Digiprofiles or your invite link.

If both apply, the mobile number decides. A referral can't be added or changed after sign-up, and you can't refer yourself.

5. When a friend counts

A friend counts only once their paid subscription has begun: their free trial has ended and a paid subscription period has started.
If a friend pays during their free trial, they count when their paid period starts, not when they pay.
Buying conferences alone doesn't count. A friend still counts if they used a promo code.

6. Each person counts once

A friend counts once, the first time their paid subscription begins. Renewals and further purchases don't count again.
A mobile number counts once, ever. The same person can't be counted again by opening another account, by closing their account and signing up again, or by being referred by someone else. To check this, we keep a scrambled fingerprint of each counted mobile number, never the number itself.
A friend who has counted still counts if they later close their account.

7. Your reward

Each reward adds 1 month to the end of your current paid subscription, on the same plan, multiplier and term. For these rewards, a month is 30 days, so 1 month adds 30 days. Every further 5 counted friends earn another 1 month.
Rewards are added automatically and shown in Subscription details and on your Digidashboard.
Rewards have no cash value. They can't be exchanged for money, transferred to another account or refunded.

8. Your friends

Friends you refer get the normal free trial and prices. They don't receive an extra reward through this program.

9. Fair use

Share Digiprofiles with people you know, or on your own website and social media. Don't send unsolicited bulk messages (spam): the Spam Act 2003 applies.
Don't create accounts, or pay for other people's subscriptions, to earn rewards. Don't use false details or accounts you control.
Don't make misleading claims about Digiprofiles or this program.

If we reasonably believe the program has been misused, we may withhold or remove rewards and suspend the accounts involved, as set out in our Terms of use.

10. Changes to the program

We may change the number of friends or months, pause the program, or end it at any time. If we do, rewards already earned are kept, including rewards held until you next pay. Changes apply to friends whose paid subscriptions begin after the change.

11. Privacy

A mobile number a friend enters under "From a friend" is used only to find the matching customer, and is not stored. The fingerprint described in section 6 is used only to apply the once-only rule. See our Privacy policy.
